This week’s two-day negotiations between the Company and your bargaining team, made up of your local union and fellow Stop & Shop members, wrapped today. Over the past two days, we finalized tentative agreements on certain non-economic proposals and exchanged proposals on general wage increases.
We made important gains in bargaining this week, and we remain focused on delivering you wage increases that reflect a rising cost of living, your hard work, and the sacrifices you made to serve your community during the pandemic.
We will meet next week, on February 16th and 17th, where we will receive a counterproposal from the Company on general wage increases.
We will continue to keep you updated after each bargaining session. In the meantime, please make sure you and your union coworkers are receiving all updates from the Union’s App or website.
